In this article we will be looking at Epistane side effects and what you can expect from one of the UK’s leading Prohormones.
With any prohormone like Epistane there is always the possibility of side effects, just as you would expect with many other supplements used in conjunction with your training. Obviously this could be a little worrying to a first time user of epistane, so in this article we will be going over some of the more common epistane side effects, to give you a better idea of what to expect when you buy Epistane.
Positive Epistane Side Effects
One of the main, positive epistane side effects is that it is an anti-oestrogen. As a result it is a great prohormone to use when you’re on a calorie restricted diet and looking to cut fat, whilst adding the leanest possible muscle mass to your body, this is because oestrogen is known for creating water retention, bloating and fat gain, all of which are not going to help you get a dry lean look.
Epistane is also known for being very versatile and can be useful during both a cutting and bulking cycles due to its ability to increase the rate of protein synthesis, which aids in strength gains and can be really effective in helping you bulk up without adding unwanted fat and retaining unwanted fluid.
Low Risk Side Effects of Epistane
The other positive of using epistane is that it is a very mild prohormone and the likelihood of unwanted and nasty side effects is relatively low and though you may encounter some, they are generally very mild, which makes this a fantastic prohormone to use on a first cycle.
One common worry for anyone considering using a prohormone is the risk of gyno, but this is not an issue you will find with Epistane, due to the anti-oestrogenic and anti-aromatase properties of this prohormone. There is a very rare side effect called rebound gyno however, where gyno develops during your PCT, but this is usually only in cases where very high doses of epistane have been used and then stopped sharply and even at high doses this can be avoided by dialling down the dosage numbers towards the end of your cycle.
Another myth relating to epistane side effects is that along with lethargy you might start to feel depressed. If anything, we have found that the complete opposite is usually the case, with most users feeling very positive whilst on cycle. This also applies to any loss of libido, with most users indicating an increase in libido during the first few weeks of cycle before it levels off mid cycle. Both of these side effects only seem to come into action when high doses of epistane are being used.
Real Epistane Side Effects
As with any prohormone which is highly anabolic, you may find that you lack energy and your libido decreases slightly as you reach the end of your epistane cycle, a couple of things you can do in this instance is stack epistane with a mild androgen to balance out the side effects and also you should definitely follow your cycle with a suitable PCT.
Most side effects you could suffer when using epistane are unlikely to happen on cycle, due to it being an anti-oestrogen. You may feel lethargic as with any prohormone cycle and you may suffer from back pumps and dry joints, with your joints requiring a joint supplement, to help ease the stress they are under from high doses of a dry mass gainer such as epistane. Again this will only apply if you are using a high dosage. Lethargy will also be more likely a problem for those people on a low carb and calorie diet and you can alter this by lowering your dosage until you find the right amount that works for you.
Of all the side effects mentioned, the main risk from Epistane is caused by misuse. Many users feel they can increase the dosage due to the mildness of this compound and this is where problems may arise, side effects on standard dosages are very rare.
At normal dosage epistane is also extremely mild on your liver, unlike many other prohormones, although we still do recommend using a liver support such as milk thistle, in conjunction with your cycle and if you do raise the dosage you are always raising the risk. Keep this in mind at all times.
Overall when taken responsibly epistane side effects are often non-existent making it an extremely popular prohormone due to its low risk and potentially big gains.
